Alien: Isolation pre-order DLC will be sold after release
Players hoping to fill the boots of the crewmembers of the original Alien movie in Alien: Isolation will not have to pre-order the video game to get access to the extra missions after all.

A statement on the Alien: Isolation Facebook page clarified that the pre-order bonuses, which will feature classic scenes from Alien, will be released to purchase separately at a later date. Two missions were announced as pre-order bonuses: Crew Expendable, which sees players in the role of one of three surviving crewmembers, only moments after Brett's death at the jaws of the creature, as they explore the Nostromo from habitation deck and try to trap the Alien in the ship’s airlock; and Last Survivor, which stars Ellen Ripley as she tries to make her escape on the Narcissus.

More details will be released “shortly,” according to the statement. At least those sceptical about pre-order bonuses, especially ones as tempting as these, will be able to wait for reviews and game feedback and still get the DLC at some point.

Alien: Isolation will be released on October 7th.
