Apogee Software, the team originally behind the Duke Nukem franchise, has launched a new online store. The team pioneered the way with shareware distribution, which became a standardized practice among PC game publishers.
The new online store features games such as Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project and Rise of the Triad: Dark War. The Legacy Pack includes Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Rise of the Triad: Dark War, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, and Blake Stone: Planet Strike. As a bonus for ordering the Legacy Pack, customers will receive Extreme Rise of the Triad and the soundtrack to Duke Nukem: Critical Mass. The pack retails at $19.99. To celebrate Father's Day, the discount code "Father" can be used to get $5 off the purchase of the Legacy Pack. This code is valid until 20 June.
