The first part of the single player downloadable content for
Assassin’s Creed III, The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy, will be released on Xbox 360 and PC on February 19th and on PlayStation 3 on February 20th. This is the first part of a three part campaign, which will let players live out an alternative version of the American Revolution, resulting in a journey to dethrone George Washington.
In the first episode, players will take control of Ratonhnhaké:ton who “wakes from an unsettling dream to find that, despite his efforts to deliver justice in the newly-founded United States of America, a new king has been crowned – George Washington. The King goes mad with power and it is up to Ratonhnhaké:ton to acquire the skills he needs to take down the King and see freedom bestowed on the land.
No release date has been announced for the Wii U downloadable content, but Ubisoft says that it is coming. Wii U players will not be able to purchase a Season Pass however. Each of the three instalments will cost 800 Microsoft points or $9.99. They can also be downloaded as part of the Season Pass, which costs 2400 Microsoft points, or $29.99.
