Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection brings back the best character

The Assassin's Creed series has been going for almost a decade now, and it's become one of the best known gaming franchises around.

That was never guaranteed though, with the original title managing to be technically impressive but a little dull. Thankfully the 2009 sequel upped the ante in every way possible with a proper story, slick gameplay and a lot of inventive mudering. But one of the main reasons for its success was undoubtedly the arrival of lead character Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

Mostly that's because of how fun the character was, something which was sorely missing from the first game. We get to see him grow up and start to accept his destiny in Assassin's Creed 2, and the character was so good he stuck around for a further two games in Brotherhood and Revelations.

Now you can get to grips with Ezio's entire adventure with these three games repurposed for the Xbox One and PS4 featuring enhanced graphics and some choice goodies.

Revelations is a real treat if you managed to miss it so far, and all of the games come with their downloadable content- though you won't find any multiplayer included. Short films Embers and Lineage are in the box, which give you an actual ending for Ezio's story and look rather nice into the bargain.

This collection is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on the 15th of November, 2016, just over a month before Michael Fassbender pops into cinemas for the movie. Which might even be good!
