This November, it's time to go ROGUE!
That's probably not the tag line for the new Assassin's Creed game but it clearly should be, as you take on the role of an Irish chap called Cormac who was once an Assassin and now he's gone ROGUE! Which actually means signing up with the Templars, who are actually far more stuffy and really not that likely to be a fan of ROGUE-ish sorts.
Also, membership apparently makes you sound like you just swallowed a leprechaun...
Yea, that's some really bad enunciating there chap.
There's a good amount of info on the story out there already - Cormac's out making sure the world has less Assassin's and sailing the seas on a nifty ship called the Morrigan. It's all set in the mid 1700's in North America again - between the time of Black Flag and AC III.
And it seems that story is going to be all important this time because Rogue doesn't have a single player element. Speaking to IGN a UBI rep said there's no plan to ship with any kind of competitive or co-operative play but also mentioned that could change in the future.
Personally, I'm a fan of games that spend their time focussing on one aspect of gameplay, so long as this smaller title doesn't scrimp on the quality elsewhere.
Assassin's Creed Rogue will be on Xbox 360 and PS3 from the 11th of November 2014.
