After glowing previews and sufficient interest from the community, the project has been greenlit. This means that Valve is reaching out to BatCat Games to get the ball rolling so that the title will be released on Steam.
The twin-stick shooter sees players in control of a nano-ship, defending the Nucleus at the centre of a petri dish from a horde of invading bacteria. So, not only do you have to worry about staying alive, but you must also protect the target of the invasion.
It’s early days in the process yet, so a release date is unknown, but more information is expected shortly.
