Beta testing for Steam OS streaming begins soon

Though Steam Machines and Steam OS might still be awhile off, Valve is ready to give gamers a taste of some of the features that we can expect from them. Gamers will be able to beta test Valve's new streaming service, which allows users to stream games from a PC to a Steam client on the same network. Beta testing will begin this year according to Valve and any interested gamers can sign up right here for a chance of being selected as a tester.

For those who haven't kept up with recent developments on Steam Machines, they will only be capable of playing Linux games natively so, for now, a PC is required to do the streaming from.
