Beyond Two Souls from Quantic Dream was another attempt at creating a cinematic action game, complete with impressive performace capture with stars Ellen Page and Willem Defoe. And now the game is making its bow on the PS4.
The enhanced edition of Beyond will launch on Sony's latest consoles on the 26th of November 2015, which is just a week away. The news comes from Quantic Dream's CEO and creative man David Cage on the PlayStation Blog, complete with some words about the new additions to the game.
You'll get improved 1080p graphics, and fancy effects like motion blur and bloom to make it all look even more cinematic. Atmospheric sounds effects will emerge from your DualShock 4 controller as you play as Aiden and the fight controls have been improved, and these battles have also been made more challenging.
After you complete the game you can play it in chronological order, and each chapter will show you your decisions and how they compare to other players. You'll also get the Enhanced Experiments DLC for free.

Perhaps more interesting is the fact that Heavy Rain is also getting a re-release, though not until March 2016. It's arguably a better game and one which could benefit more from a remaster, given it was released all the way back in February 2010. What's more if you buy Beyond you'll get an appropriate discount on the double pack including Heavy Rain in March. Which sounds like a good deal.
Here's a look at how the prettier version will look, there's FBI guy Norman Jayden. He's pretty bad at his job.
Beyond Two Souls enhanced edition is coming exclusively to the PS4 on the 26th of November 2015, priced at €29.99.
