Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel coming to next-gen consoles

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March as part of The Handsome Collection.

The collection will include all of the downloadable content for both titles and will take advantage of the power and performance of the new consoles. This will enable players to take on the campaign in four-player split screen for the first time. Plus, vault hunters will be able to save transfers from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 onto the next-gen consoles through cross-save functionality.

President of 2K, Christoph Hartmann, said that this collection marks the series’ official move to next-gen platforms. He added, “The Handsome Collection gives players the opportunity to experience the full arc of Handsome Jack’s rise and fall, from his not-so-humble beginnings on Elpis to becoming the tyrannical Hyperion CEO on Pandora, all in one value-packed bundle.”

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will be available on March 24th in North America and on March 27th internationally, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 system.
