It was long rumoured that we were going to be gifted with two triple A Assassin's Creed games in 2014 and now it's been confirmed with the release of details on the all new Assassin's Creed Rogue.
You'll play an Irish chap called Shay who is a former Assassin now out to kill the ones he once called friend. The setting appears to be North America once more but with elements of sea-faring also included. Consider this a game that samples elements of both Black Flag and AC 3 but it doesn't have a number after the name so its all getting a bit confusing.
Oh and did we mention that Shay has one of the worst Irish accents we've ever heard in a game?
Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if his quarry was running away because he didn't want to hear another syllable.
Anyway, the game is coming and its generous of Ubi to be giving every gamer a chance to play some version of the title. Unless you're on Wii U. Sucks for you. And they're even going all out to offer a proper collector's set as well. Players will get a gorgeous art book, soundtrack and lithographs in a cracked ice box that will look very nice on any shelf.
There's also extra in game goodies, inclding extra single player missions entitled The Ramour of Sir Gunn and The Siege of Fort De Sable. The first gives you more forts to raid in a new area, the second sets you on a unique quest around North America to solve the mystery of the real Sir James Gunn - a Scot who legend says may have discovered America.
Asssassin's Creed Rogue is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 on the 11th of November 2014.
