The digital-only title will be released in 2015 and is based on the game's 2002 GameCube "Remake." It will feature 1080p visuals (for PC and new-gen consoles) and 5.1 surround support. However, players will be able to go back to their roots as the game will offer a classic 4:3 ratio, the original camera angles, and the traditional control scheme.
If you don’t fancy that, you can also select a more modern control scheme, a 16:9 display ratio and a new scrolling camera that blends the game’s fixed camera angles with a more dynamic option.
While Remake was originally a Nintendo exclusive, no Wii U version of the game is planned. Are you happier to see a remastered version of a classic rather than a brand new Resident Evil adventure?
