Chris Evans is all Shooty in the Trailer for the Free to Play Chinese Call of Duty

Call of Duty is kind of a big deal, so plenty of stars have appeared in their ads over the years, including Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill, Megan Fox and Sir RDJ. But this is a bit weirder than usual.

There's Captain America hanging out with a few Chinese youths and some subtitles. It even looks like they were on set at the same time for that handshake. Maybe.

This is all in aid of Call of Duty Online - which is a free to play version of the massively sucessful online shooter created specifically for the Chinese market. From what I can tell, that means its got microtransactions. The game itself appears to have been in beta for 2 years at this stage and features a campaign mode with some familar COD faces and plenty of multiplayer action with zombies and whatever the heck that huge thing is.

Chris Evans probably won't be playing it.

Call of Duty Online is set for release in the first quarter of 2015.
