The title will feature all of this season’s team roster swaps, new circuits, and the technical changes that have been brought about with recent rule changes. Even if you don’t live and breathe F1, Codesmasters wants all players to be able to race competitively, more quickly.
The developer highlighted a new driver evaluation system that tunes game settings to your skill level to increase accessibility. Veterans will still be able to give themselves a challenge and can customise options, even going so far as to turn off all assists.
Codemaster’s F1 Creative Director Steven Hood said that the rule changes seen in the sport promise to make F1 2014 an “exciting and refreshingly different experience.” He also referenced the game’s difficulty and revealed that difficulty levels have been regarded and a new Very Easy option has been introduced.
F1 2014 will be released on October 17th for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
