Pokemon Go has taken the world by storm, and now most of Europe is on the action.
A further 26 countries have just been added across the continent, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Yep, Ireland is in that list so now we can finally find out what the world has been talking about, in a fully official capacity which doesn't involve hacking the game or logging into another region.
One of the concerns when people started downloading the app early was the possibility of loosing account progress because you were using a different region or even a dodgy copy of the game on Android. Happily, we can put those fears to rest as we transferred to the new app with no problems.
This test was carried out by logging in with the same Google account as before, so it should work fine for anyone else using that method. Our level was intact, as were all those precious Pokemon and the eggs that we've been burning serious calories trying to hatch. The same goes for the many items you've collected.
So you can get playing without fear of losing all that tasty progress!
