A new Cyberpunk 2077
related video features role playing game writer, Mike Pondsmith, explaining his inspirations for creating a dystopian metropolis of Night City. He explains the concept of the game, and the basis for a videogame adaptation. The original Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer has been seen over 6 million times in a week, and now you can get more of an insight into what it means and what the game is all about. The trailer looked absolutely bonkers, and obviously captured the imagination of those who watched it. CD Projeckt RED also launched the game’s forum
, allowing fans to express their thoughts on the setting, genre, trailer, and so on.
CD Projeckt RED may have other tricks up its sleeve. In the teaser trailer, fans noticed that one frame of the trailer contained a message. Head of CD Projekt RED studio, Adam Badowski, said, “As you may know, Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t the only title we are working on. Those of you who watched the teaser trailer carefully know that something big is coming on the 5th of February. Everything will be clearer on that day. Right now I can only say that, for the first time in the history of our studio, it will be a fully open-world game (just like Cyberpunk will be). We also remember our games’ trademark engrossing and non-linear storytelling. In the studio, the strong bond of these two elements - an open world and a captivating tale - is what everyone is trying to achieve. Both Cyberpunk 2077 and the second game draw upon these two pillars to bring our vision of a perfect RPG to life.” All will be revealed on February 5th.
