Dark Souls 2's next-gen and PC port will include DLC and new features

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin will be released on PC PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on April 3rd, 2015 across Europe and on April 7th in North America.

The title includes the original Dark Souls 2 game, the three Dark Souls 2 DLC packs, and a variety of new features and enhancements. The game will improve the game balance, though you’re still going to die a lot; augment item descriptions; and expand the story with additional in-game events.

Meanwhile, the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One editions will feature additional upgrades to graphics, sound and performance, while increasing the maximum number of online players in single session to six.

It is not yet known if existing players will be able to transfer their save progress between console generations.
