Dead Rising 4 MS exclusive for a year

Dead Rising 4 is on the way and it's looking like it's going to be a special kind of Christmas-time where you also kill hundreds of zombies.

The game is definitely being set up for Microsoft systems as part of their cross play shenanigans - basically meaning that they work on both Xbox One and Windows 10 and you can sync your saves across both platforms. It's a pretty neat addition though we're not sure how many people have the PC rig to take advantage of it.

Anyway, developers Capcom have said only that the game is coming to these platforms but further information suggests that might not be the whole story.

This isn't official word but the news certainly makes for interesting reading. Dead Rising has a history of being MS focussed but the idea o expanding to other consoles by 2017 is something that fans will be hoping comes true.

Dead Rising 4 is out on Windows 10 and Xbox One in late 2016.
