Xbox One owners who pre-order the new Doom will get Doom 1 and Doom 2 for free.
Both titles are playable on Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility. Doom’s description on the Xbox Store says that if you pre-order the title, codes will be delivered to your Xbox message centre in 7-10 days.
As another incentive to pre-order, you’ll get access to the Demon Multiplayer Pack. This includes a unique Demon-themed-armour set with three skin variations, six Hack Modules, six metallic paint colours, and three id logo patterns.
Bethesda also detailed Doom’s Warpath mode; it’s a twist on the familiar King of the Hill mode. The capture point moves in a circular pattern, but on the opposite side of the circle orbits a Demon Rune that turns players into a monster with a jetpack and a rocket launcher.
"Players have to decide where they want to be: rushing toward the power-up to turn into a Marine-destroying Demon; clustered around the capture point to defend or steal control; or simply roaming around looking to pick off any errant foes," the publisher explained on the Bethesda Blog.
Doom will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 13th.
