EA has confirmed that it is working with Coldwood Interactive, the developer of yarn-based puzzle Unravel, on its next project.

In its official news release, it said that it didn’t have any details to share, but it has since said that it will be a sequel to Unravel.

Executive Vice President of EA Studios, Patrick Söderlund, said that the publisher “could not be more excited to continue working with Martin Sahlin and the great team at Coldwood, and to see the next adventure they bring to life.”

Praising the “awesomely creative” team, he said that they “brought tiny, endearing Yarny to life.” He added, “It’s been quite incredible to see the community’s love for Yarny, both in the game and beyond.”

It is probably too soon to see an announcement at E3, but we’re looking forward to seeing what’s in store for Yarny.
