Ed Sheeran confirmed for Guitar Hero Live

Ed Sheeran confirmed for Guitar Hero Live

Ed Sheeran is among the first artists confirmed for Guitar Hero Live, the live action reboot of Activision’s long-running franchise.

His immensely popular single “Sing” was revealed as one of the playable songs in the game. Ed is joined by the likes of Biffy Clyro, Jake Bugg, and Of Monsters and Men.

Guitar Hero Live promises hundreds of playable songs upon release between the main game and the GHTV online mode. Each song will have challenges and goals.

Higher difficulty goals are not revealed until prior goals are accomplished. The released screenshot also mentions that a song is a "premium show requirement,” but Activision didn’t say any more about that.

Guitar Hero Live will introduce a new controller and playing perspective. It will be released this autumn. Until then, we’ll have to make do with our air-guitar performances.

Guitar Hero Live track list:

  • "Sing"(Ed Sheeran)
  • "Best Day of My Life" (American Authors)
  • "What Doesn't Kill You" (Jake Bugg)
  • "Don't Owe You a Thang" (Gary Clark, Jr.)
  • "Asleep at the Wheel" (Band of Skulls)
  • "Little Talks" (Of Monsters and Men)
  • "Cry of Achilles" (Alter Bridge)
  • "Sounds Like Balloons" (Biffy Clyro)
  • "Sometimes" (Blitz Kids)
  • "Under the Pressure" (The War on Drugs)
