Activision has released a trailer to show off the new Web Rush mechanic in The Amazing Spider-Man. This allows players to slow down time and plan out their next move strategically. It can also be used to catch your breath in boss fights and work out what the next best course of action is. The trailer shows Spidey in action, swinging around the city. However, there are also a few shots of combat, stealth and glimpses of bosses that players will encounter.

The Amazing Spider-Man will pick up after the events of the film. The game will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, 3DS, DS and Wii on June 26th in North America and June 29th in Europe.
