F1 2016’s multiplayer is to offer more than its predecessors with players able to take on a full field of human players rather than a mix of AI and other people.
In addition to racing against 21 other people, players will also be able to enjoy the tension of a Formation Lap before settling into their starting position on the grid. Principal Games Designer Lee Mather says that these changes are to ensure that the game is as close to the actual sport as possible.
F1 2016 invites you to create your own legend when it launches in August. We do have to wonder who was in charge of the trailer though; a Ferrari win looks unlikely at the moment, while Ferrari 1-2 on the grid is the stuff of dreams alone.
