FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup Xbox One update rolling out
The delayed FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup update is starting to roll out to some Xbox One players, though work is still being done to get the update out to all players and enable the online portion of the update.

EA Sports’ community manager for the FIFA series, Rob Hodson, said that some Xbox One players have been getting their hands on the World Cup kick-off update. The kick-off mode is only for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, though it is not yet clear if PlayStation 4 players have been receiving the update.

Hodson added that the online part of the World Cup update will not be available until later today at the earliest. In a post last night, Hodson said that the team had been making “good progress” on the update and is doing “everything we can to launch it tomorrow.”

Unforeseen issues delayed the launch of the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup update, which was supposed to launch yesterday.

Update:Rob Hodson has released a status update for the various platforms. He said: "Xbox One: Update live, Kick-off available, online unavailable. | 360 Update live, no menu change until online is available.PS4: Update live, Kick-off available, online unavailable. | PS3 & PC Update live, no menu change until online is available."
