FIFA 15 drops Pro Clubs mode on PS3 and Xbox 360
FIFA 15 will not feature the 11v11 Pro Clubs mode on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, according to EA.

A statement from EA explains that one of the things that the development team couldn’t do this time around was implement Pro Clubs on current-gen systems. The statement read, “We're very confident in the amount of innovation and depth we're delivering for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360 but there are some things we couldn't do for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360, either based on the limitations of these consoles, or our time and resources.”

According to EA, the team has focused on “gameplay innovation, Team Management, Career Mode, FIFA Ultimate Team, and authentic leagues, teams, and kits that mirror the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.”

While PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players may appreciate those touches, it is likely to be of little consolation if they were fans of the unique game mode, which saw players assume the role of one player while playing with a team full of other people.

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players will instead have the following to play in FIFA 15:

  • Kick Off
  • Learn-to-Play
  • Practice Arena
  • FIFA Ultimate Team
  • Career Mode
  • Tournament Mode
  • Online Seasons
  • Online Friendlies
  • Co-Op Seasons
  • Skill Games
