The FIFA 15 development team captured detailed photography of all 20 stadiums so that they could be put into the game. Authenticity is one of the cornerstones of the FIFA 15 experience, it seems. The development team also recorded the cheers, chants and sounds of more than 20 Premier League matches, so that matches will sound more realistic. Crowds will react to goals and misses, and will break into songs and chants…though we assume they’ll be the more family friendly chants.
FIFA 15 will feature over 200 new player heads that will be scanned in. Players from teams across the league, including players from the newly promoted teams, will appear in a more realistic form than ever.
EA Sports has worked on recreating the match day experience with graphics and overlays in recent years. FIFA 15 will feature broadcast graphics from international Premier League television feeds, including team sheets, formations, score and clock, next fixture and player stats.
And finally, goal line technology will make an appearance in FIFA 15. Replay animations will remove all doubt over close calls and goal line technology. Hopefully it won’t be used as it was during the World Cup when there was absolutely no doubt regarding a goal.
