Those of you who have been holding out for a reworked, or even HD, version of epic 1997 RPG title
Final Fantaxy VII are finally in for a nice treat. While it's not from Square Enix, a fan has gone out of his way to rebuild the game using the
Unreal Engine. It's one hell of a task for anyone to attempt, but they've given it a go and it looks pretty impressive! There's already a demo available at the remake's website, which you can
check out here.
We're not fully sure how long the project will last without being shut down by
Square Enix however, especially if they're anything like Sega who were less than impressed with last year's Streets of Rage fan remake, so we recommend you check it out as soon as possible.
