Bugbear Entertainment knows what it does well and that’s car games, so it comes as little surprise that its newest project has been emblazoned with the working title, “
Next Car Game.” However, Bugbear doesn’t really do “typical.” The studio launched a
site with a trailer for the upcoming game and said that it’s listening to the fans. This game, whatever it ends up being called, will go back to the developer’s roots.
On its own website, the developer said that it will deliver “the definitive demolition derby racing game.” It is a game mode that has occasionally been featured in titles with appearances in
Grid,
Blur and
DiRT: Showdown. However, Bugbear maintains that “nobody else seems capable of delivering the kind of game our fans have been asking from us every week. We feel that there hasn’t been a proper demolition derby game in years. It’s about time they got an answer.”
