DriveClub is out this week exclusively on PS4 and Sony had planned to unveil a free version of the game to PS Plus users starting yesterday in North America, but it ain't happening.
Apparently online issues with the full retail game are causing havoc with servers, meaning the developers are concentrating on getting things back up and running for paying customers before chucking out a cut down version for free. Which I have to say makes absolute and total sense for people who actually want to run a business.
Unfortunately if you're in Europe that means you're going to have to wait until Friday to pick up a physical copy as digital sales don't seem to be going through either right now. There's no word at all as to when this issue might be resolved but expect an update from Sony just as soon as possible.
In the meantime, why not check out the October offerings from PS Plus, which includes Batman Arkham Asylum, Spelunky and Dusty: An Elysian Tale. It's good stuff, but there's no driving...
More as we get it.
