The end of 2015 was a pretty great time to be a Star Wars fan, with the launch of the massively successful The Force Awakens as well as a whole lot of great new toys. We also had the arrival of Star Wars Battlefront, which let you fight alongside the heroes and villains from the franchise in massive online battles. And fans of the game have more to celebrate this month, with additional free content on the way.
We've heard that free DLC will be arriving in Battlefront before the end of January 2016. That will include an entirely new map based on the dester planet of Tatooine - which will let you recall all the best bits from A New Hope - as well as new outfits for the hero characters of Luke and Leia.
This content should be coming to everyone, again for the cost of nothing, and follows on the heels of the Battle of Jakku DLC which was also given away for free and let players see that world long before the events of The Force Awakens. A major update is also planned for the game before the end of the month.
