Gamer gets lowest possible score in Super Mario Bros.
Everyone is familiar with Super Mario Bros. by now, but have you ever considered trying to get as low a score as possible? One gamer did, and thankfully captured the effort on camera, and it’s not as simple as running into the first enemy multiple times.

The effort, from YouTuber NotEntirelySure, sees the player completing the game with a total score of just 500 points. Doing so takes every trick in the book as the player dodges enemies without killing them, often resulting in a faceoff, waits until the last second to touch the bottom of the flagpole, and uses every warp zone possible.

It’s a fascinating video that shows how much you have to know about the game to get the lowest score you can. Congratulations NotEntirelySure, though it’s a pity that modern games won’t reward you with a leaderboard showcasing your talent.
