The Dead Space 3
demo will be made available to a limited number of gamers on January 15th, but only if they are playing on Xbox360, and are from North America or the U.K. To register your interest, visit the dedicated Dead Space 3 demo website
, enter your details, and then shamelessly tweet or Facebook about the promotion. Your request for early access will then be confirmed.
Dead Space 3’s demo will give players a taste of the co-operative element of the game along with the Weapon Crafting Arena, which allows players to create custom weapons. Naturally, the demo will also allow players to experience some of what they can expect from the full game when it is released in February. Finally, the demo will support Kinect, so you can test out those voice commands and test if they are implemented seamlessly. The available features in the demo could put fears to rest or they could put players off altogether, so it will be interesting to see how players react.
Completing the demo on Xbox 360 in co-op will reward both players with the Stasis Support Attachment when the game is released. The demo will become available to the general public on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 22nd. There are currently no plans to release a Dead Space 3 demo on PC. Dead Space 3 will be released in North America on February 5th, and in Europe on February 8th.
