We first saw the initial Grand Theft Auto V trailer remade in Battlefield 3, but now a resourceful group of movie makers has recreated it using Lego bricks. The group, who call themselves thefourmonkeys, have recreated the trailer scene-for-scene using the same backing track and voice-over.

The video, which is unsurprisingly titled Lego Grand Theft Auto 5, is an entry for the Machinima Interactive Film Festival. This festival has been developed by Machinima in association with iam8bit Studios. It seeks to highlight the finest video projects across a number of categories including Traditional Machinima, Action / Drama Live Action, Comedy Live Action, Experimental / Music Video, Action / Drama Animation, and Comedy Animation. Users are being invited to visit the official festival website where the entries can be watched, and then vote using Twitter or Facebook.
