Gravity Rush 2 was heading for a December 2016 release date, now that's no longer the case.
An update on the PlayStation Blog confirms that the game will now slip into 2017, and the developers sound really, really sorry:
"I would like to apologize to all those players anxiously awaiting Gravity Rush 2. After four years of development making a title we are very proud of, we want to release it at the very best time."
Right at the tail end of the year probably isn't the best time to introduce a new game, when everyone is gearing up to get those blockbusters bought for Christmas. Now it's going to arrive in January 2017 when folks might be more receptive to the relatively weird stylings of this third person action title. There's a chance we'll see a demo release in the meantime.
To say sorry, a slice of premium DLC will now be offered for free, which is always welcome. Here's a look at what you can expect from the game.
Yep so it's pretty strange, but the PS Vita original was great fun. Play Gravity Rush 2 from the 20th of January, 2017.
