Rockstar have very recently announced GTAV in a very official, very subtle manner.
Don’t believe us? Take a gaggle
here...
See? Subtle. As we’ve all come to expect from a franchise which encourages players to boost cars, explode civilians and employ hookers.
And what’s more, the debut trailer for this latest entry in Rockstar’s flagship title will hit the internet in its face on November 2nd. Quite exciting for those of you not glued to the screen as Nathan Drake jumps onto European shelves, screaming ‘Oh Craaappp!”
Rumours have been circulating regarding the game since last February. Antics like cryptic web domains bought up by Rockstar, actors with GTAV on their CV and sources ‘close to the developer’ hinting the game was ‘well under way’ helped fan the flames.
For those cave dwellers out there (hey, we don’t judge) Rockstar are responsible for some of the finest IP of the last few generations, including Grand Theft Auto, L.A. Noire, Bully and Red Dead Redemption.
And while personally I’d prefer they concentrate their creative energies on fresh and exciting properties, there’s no denying GTAV will set the web abuzz come November 2nd.
Might even set it on fire. This is GTA you know...
