Halo 5 will be getting the co-op survival challenge mode Warzone Firefight later this year. Developer 343 Industries teased the mode in a new trailer and on the Xbox website.
This mode, if you’ve never played it before, sees players teaming up against a common enemy. It will also let players show off their custom Spartans. Warzone Firefight debuted with Halo 3: ODST and was included in Halo: Reach, but not Halo 4.
The trailer was released to publicise the Hammer Storm update, which is being released today. The update adds three new game modes, a new map, two new weapons, and a variety of new REQ items.
The new game modes are Grifball, a team-based sport where players use the Gravity Hammer and swords to get a ball to their goal; Assault, which has a similar goal but features more weaponry; and Fiesta, which randomises what weapons players start with.
Expect to see more from the much anticipated Warzone Firefight in the coming months.
