Despite the huge succcess of Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Blizzard has claimed that it has no plans to bring the game to console, and is instead totally focused on finishing the first major add-on for the title, Curse of Naxxramas.
Speaking in an interview with website Eurogamer.net, Hearthstone's production director Jason Chayes said:
The idea of getting it onto console has come up from players. It's not something we're actually looking at right now. We feel like we have our hands full in the short term with getting onto Android as soon as we can, which is kind of one of the big priorities we're looking at right now.
However, making sure not to close any doors, Chayes also hinted that enough requests from the game's community could see the team revisit its decision, and if there was enough interest for a console version, he claimed it's definitely something that would be looked at.
For the time being, at least, it looks like you'll need to stick to PC and mobile devices for your collectible card fix.
