Here's Call of Duty: Black Ops III's reveal trailer in all its glory

As you’d expect, Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s reveal trailer is a thrill ride from start to finish. And it’s got a fantastic soundtrack to boot.

The trailer shows off some of the new weaponry and toys you’ll get to play with, the addition of augmentations, and even hints heavily at the return of the Zombies survival mode. Black Ops III will include new movement capabilities in multiplayer, including the ability to run along walls and power slide.

There will be a range of 'Specialist' characters. The full game will feature nine different soldiers who can be levelled up independently, four of which have been revealed. There’s Ruin, who can pound spikes into the ground for a strong area effect; Seraph, who has access to a high-calibre revolver; Outrider, who wields a compound bow; and Reaper, a robot who can use a mini-gun. These abilities are available for a short time after filling up a meter.

Multiplayer is a big focus of Call of Duty: Black Ops III and even makes its way into the campaign. You will be able to play the entire campaign in co-op with any level open to play from the get-go. Campaign characters are customisable and have their own progression system.

For the first time since Call of Duty: World at War there will be a beta prior to launch. The trailer says that those who pre-order the game will be able to get early access to Black Ops III’s multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be released on November 6th, 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
