The fantastic indie title
Hotline Miami will be coming to
PlayStation Vita and
PlayStation 3 this spring. It will be a Cross-Buy game, so you only need to buy it once to be able to play it on either platform.
If you haven’t played it before, a promotional video has been released, which showcases the game in all its bloody gory. Unlike the trailer, you may want to hone your skills on one enemy at a time rather than sprinting into every room all-guns-blazing. Others are alerted by gunfire and will descend on your position. As if that wasn’t difficult enough, one hit kills! It’s a tough, but excellent game that fuses a retro style with old-school Grand Theft Auto gameplay and lots of violence.
Hotline Miami has been heavily pirated on PC, but has still managed to sell over 300,000 copies. That hasn't deterred the developer though as a sequel is in the pipeline. The team is currently piecing together the soundtrack, but it will be a while before the game is released. Hotline Miami’s release on PlayStation 3 and Vita is the priority for now. If you would prefer to check out the PC version, it is available on
Steam or on
GOG.
