Devolver Digital has announced that it will be releasing Hotline Miami on the PlayStation 4, adding Cross-Buy support, which allows users who owned the PlayStation Vita or PlayStation 3 versions of the game to recieve the game at no additional cost on the PlayStation 4. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is also currently in the works and will be coming out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Windows, Mac and Linux. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set about a decade later than the original Hotline Miami, taking the player from the neon glare of the 80's to a slightly more fashionable 90's. Nigel Lowrie from Devolver Digital spoke at GDC about plans for the upcoming sequel, which we will see more of at PAX East next month.
"So far all [we've shown developer Dennaton] is doing is really more or less similar to Hotline Miami1, what we've shown." Lowrie told Destructoid. "What we're gonna show at PAX East and in a trailer before PAX East is the new hotness, and really things are going to change up the game quite a bit."
