Watch Dogs 2 is definitely coming, with Ubisoft confirming that it will launch before summer 2017 and a gaping hole where Assassin's Creed used to be. And it looks like there's a new hero in the mix.
A motion capture artist posted this image a few weeks back.
Despite being labelled #WatchDogs2 the picture wasn't seen for a few days and now it has been removed - presumably because the actor spoke out of turn.
If this is true it looks like the original leading man Aiden Pearce won't be back for the sequel. And that's no bad thing as he was one of the least interesting protagonists in recent memory, and the bar isn't all that high for videogame fellas.
We don't know much else about the sequel except that presumably there will be a whole lot more hacking and we're hoping for more variety in gameplay and a better story. Some fun wouldn't go amiss either, games are supposed to be entertaining. It might also be set in San Francisco this time around.
Stay tuned for more on Watch Dogs 2.
