Community Manager for EA Sports’ FIFA series, Rob Hodson, broke the news on the FIFA forums and said that the decision to delay the update was a tough one. He said that the issues would affect all players who downloaded the FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup update, so the team plans to tackle them before releasing the update to the public. The delay is to ensure that the best possible experience can be created for players.
Hodson added that they are hoping to have the update ready to release in the coming days. A further update regarding the status of FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup is to be released this evening.
FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: World Cup was originally scheduled for release on May 29th. The update will be released for all versions, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One though the content will differ from the current-gen offering, but no date has been set yet.
