Lara Croft had a rough time in the Tomb Raider reboot of 2013. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be any easier for her in the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider.
A new cinematic trailer asks what drives some people to discover something more and to push themselves beyond limits or reason. Lara herself is one such person as we’re discovering as her story is told.
Of course, the trailer also features footage of Lara falling. It’s definitely a sequel to the 2013 title then.
There isn’t much to take in from this cinematic trailer. But it’s certainly enough to whet the appetite ahead of the Xbox E3 press briefing, which takes place on June 15th.
Microsoft’s E3 conference will be the first time that we’ll get to see gameplay footage from Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released during “Holiday 2015.” It will be a timed exclusive for Xbox consoles.
