Behold the latest multiplayer trailer for the oft-delayed Battlefield: Hardline…. Is it me or does it feature a blatantly anti-police service sentiment. I may be misinterpreting things, but 90 seconds of outmanoeuvring police vehicles, riddling them with automatic weapon fire, before finally polishing them off with a well-placed rocket propelled grenade is pretty blatant in my books.
Obviously, the Battlefield: Hardline multiplayer takes a Cops V Robbers approach. This is arguably more palatable than the usual Military V Insurgents Battlefield tradition. And the tricks and stunts on show should inject much life into the already dynamic Frostbite shenanigans Battlefield is known for. However there’s something eerily disrespectful in the tone here. That said, perhaps a Battlefield title isn’t the best place to go looking for respect.
More fool me…
Battlefield: Hardline finally reaches PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox one in March 2015.
