Leak outs Destiny's next expansion

Artwork leaked online reveals that Destiny’s autumn expansion is called Rise of Iron.

The artwork, obtained by Kotaku, features Iron Banner boss Lord Saladin front and centre somewhere that looks like Earth's Cosmodrome wall. It’s a pretty stunning image, we have to say.

A report indicates that Rise of Iron’s raid will be loosely based on one that was supposed to launch in last year’s House of Wolves DLC. This was altered for a new raid that was due to launch last month before being delayed further.

The expansion’s name indicates that we’ll see more of the Lords of Iron. This group gave their name to Destiny's monthly Iron Banner player-versus-player event.

Rise of Iron is likely to launch in September. We may well hear more about it at E3 next month.
