Electronic Arts today announced that the latest instalment in EA Sports' long-running Madden NFL franchise, Madden NFL 15, will hit stores on August 26th in North American and August 29th in Europe. The game, which follows last year's Madden NFL 25 (not a typo, as last year represented the 25th anniversary of the series), will launch on both old gen and current gen systems simultaneously, with PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners all able to get in on the action.
As usual, this year's instalment sees a slew of changes, both minor and major, with the presentation taking centre stage in this early announcement as EA promises "an entirely new broadcast presentation that delivers Madden NFL game day like never before with dramatic all-new camera angles, as well as dynamic pre-game and halftime features."
As always, fans will decide this year's cover athlete with EA again collaborating with broadcaster ESPN for the voting process. Further information will be available during the network's coverage of the NFL Draft on May 8th.
