PS2 games are coming to the PS4 - and it looks like an action classic will be making the transition soon.
Max Payne has just received a new rating from the ESRB - and it's not at all surprising that it's got an M for Mature. The re-rating is specifically for the PlayStation 4 and notes that the title includes Blood and Violence. All the good stuff really.
There's no other Payne title currently in development so it's pretty much a given that this refers to a re-release of the original game, which first appeared on the PS2 console back in 2001 and will be getting a very minor upgrade for its PS4 debut. Unfortunately if you bought the game way back then you'll still have to pay money for it again on the new console, and it could be as much as $15.
Expect news on more PS2 classics hitting the PS4 soon.
