Messi takes FIFA 15's cover spot

Messi takes FIFA 15's cover spot
Messi may not have won the World Cup, but at least he can console himself with the news that he will grace the cover of FIFA 15.

Since EA signed Messi to a multi-year endorsement contract, it has gotten its money’s worth from the superstar. Messi previously appeared on the cover of FIFA Street (2012), FIFA 13 (2012), and FIFA 14 (2013).

All we know is what the generic cover looks like for the time being. FIFA 15 will have region-specific covers and cover stars, but these have not been announced yet. Considering EA’s contract with Messi, it should come as no surprise that he will grace the cover of FIFA 15. Who would you pick for the regional covers though?

EA showed off FIFA 15 at E3 this year, giving fans a glimpse at the level of visuals that it will feature; the pitch will cut up, the environment will be even more realistic, and players will look more lifelike than ever.

FIFA 15 will be released on September 23rd in North America, September 25th in Europe, and September 26th in the UK.
