Metal Gear Solid collection listed by ratings board

The Korean Ratings Board has outed the existence of the Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection as it was added to the service yesterday. The listing was spotted by a NeoGAF user and provides some context to the cryptic product artwork that was recently tweeted by Hideo Kojima.


The image features various versions of the series protagonist Snake, and indicates that a collection may contain Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, 3, 4 and Peace Walker. No release date has been listed for any region just yet, though some fans are already glad that they didn’t invest in the HD collection, which contained Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and was released last year.


With Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on the horizon, it isn’t a huge surprise to see a collection like this becoming a reality. Konami is yet to comment on this listing.
