Metroid Prime 4 announced

Metroid Prime 4 has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch during the company’s E3 2017 conference, as noted in an article from Eurogamer.

The reveal consisted of a short teaser trailer that simply displayed the game’s working logo, which can be seen below.

As Eurogamer points out, Metroid Prime 4 will be developed by a new studio rather than Retro Studios, who handled the original trilogy of Metroid Prime games.

However, Metroid Prime producer Kensuke Tanabe is in charge of the project, which likely brings some relief to fans of the series worried about the handling of the game.
