Microsoft releases Xbox One 'Invitation' ad
Microsoft wants to shift the focus back to gaming

The newest advertisement from Microsoft shows that they have remembered that the Xbox One is a video game console first and a media box second. The new ad is simply named 'Invitation' and actually focuses on gameplay in some of the big next-gen titles like Titanfall instead of feeding us more lines about Kinect or TV streaming. Only a few seconds towards the end of the video will you find mention of movies, voice commands and Skype. Microsoft may just be trying to make up for a squandered opportunity, but their change in stance is encouraging for now at least. Though the ad doesn't quite have the same nostalgic pull that Sony used in their last PlayStation 4 commercial...
